Anne Koh

Immersing herself in the world of classical music, Anne Koh draws inspiration from the romance, intrigue and reflections from the captivating orchestral writing and divine melodic material. She paints in oils as if she herself is submerged in the magic of the sound and movement of an orchestra, overwhelmed by the emotional spectrum of the music.

Anne reimagines the movements of the sounds and the experience at a concert in a combination of expressive brush strokes and sweeps of the palette knife to highlight forms, lines and shapes of the performers and the instruments and simultaneously captures the euphoric and atmospheric feeling whenever she attends a performance.
